Caleb completed his first triathlon during the summer of 2002. He became interested in the sport after purchasing his first road bike, which was primarily to be used for transportation during the summer and upcoming school year. Having spent his high school years swimming and running, triathlons seemed like the logical next step.
Caleb graduated from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo in 2006 with a BS in Kinesiology and a minor in Sports Nutrition. Shortly after graduating he became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) with the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). Caleb also spent 2007-2010 as the head swim coach for the Corona del Sol Aztecs.
Since crossing the finish line of his first triathlon back in 2002 Caleb has completed in over 50 triathlons ranging in distance from Super Sprint to Ironman. His racing accolades include dozens of age group podium finishes as well as three trips to the XTERRA World Championships in Maui, Hawaii.
“I am extremely excited and look forward to working with and watching every Triplex athlete set, work toward and achieve their personal goals; whether it’s swimming in open water for the first time or crossing the finish line for the hundredth.”
